“At the heart of Modern Warfare is a fully fictional story, carefully crafted to please all players. SIE decided not to sell the game in the Russian PS Store. We look forward to the release of the game in digital form for PC and Xbox on October 25th.”
There’s still no official statement as to why the game wont be released, although it is believed that it could be because of the portrayal of Russia being “standard” number one enemies of the world throughout the years that could have caused the issues.
The game hasn’t been banned by Russa, Sony simply has chosen not the release it on Playstation, not supporting any would be consumers.
